Financial protection and scope of warranty.

The purpose of the warranty is to provide you as a patient with protection if the treatment carried out needs to be remedied or redone in its entirety during the warranty period. The warranty covers the treatment previously carried out, to the extent that it was previously carried out and the treatment cost paid.

Individual assessment

The action(s) to be taken in the event of a need for treatment/remediation are based on an assessment of each individual case. The aim of the measure(s) is odontologically acceptable treatment from an esthetic and functional perspective. If the treatment requires new measures that were not included in the initial treatment, these must be financed by the patient, as well as the cost of examination and X-rays.

New assessment

In simple terms, this means that when it is deemed necessary, an equivalent therapy/treatment to the original one will be carried out without you having to pay again (this does not apply to the cost of examinations and X-rays). If the new treatment is more expensive due to tax increases, no charge will be made for these. If the treatment involves new procedures, these will be charged and paid by the patient based on the current tariff.

If you decline assessment

If you decline the recommended actions under the warranty, no refund will be made. The warranty never reimburses your time, travel expenses or similar costs.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty applies when there are demonstrable signs of the need for repair, adjustment or replacement. The warranty applies primarily to mechanical complications, such as prosthetics breaking or implants being rejected. The warranty does not apply to non-healing, discomfort due to unfamiliarity, dissatisfaction with the color of the prosthetic or other aesthetic previously discussed and agreed, and problems caused by secondary caries.

The warranty does not apply in the event of an accident (trauma) or occupational injury. In these cases, you can get compensation from your employer's insurance if it is an occupational injury, or your accident insurance.

The warranty does not cover the cost of the visit and/or X-ray if two months have passed since the work was delivered and charged.

Warranty periods provided by T4 Confident

Dental prosthetics 3 years
Removable dentures 1 year
Implant prosthetic measures 3 years
Implant surgery 3 years
Tooth-supported prosthetics

Dental prosthetics are guaranteed for 3 years. Exceptions are all temporary prosthetic replacements, etching bridges and similar enamel-retained constructions.

Removable prosthetics

Removable dentures are guaranteed for 1 year. The exception is temporary partial dentures and immediate dentures.

Implant prosthetic measures

Implant-supported prosthetics come with a 3-year warranty.

Implant surgery measures

The surgical procedure for implant installation comes with a 3-year warranty.

When does the warranty start?

The guarantee starts when the work is handed over and charged for. You as a patient can use the guarantee provided that you have paid the patient fee.

What happens to the warranty after a conversion?

In the event of a warranty repair, the warranty on the repairs carried out is not renewed.

When does the warranty cover?

A prerequisite for the guarantee to apply is that you, as a patient, attend the examinations and treatments recommended by your healthcare provider. In addition, you must contact the clinic immediately if you discover any problems with your teeth. Many complications can be prevented and treated at an early stage.

The assessment of whether it is covered or not is always carried out by the treating dentist.

Where is the warranty valid?

The warranty is only valid at T4 Confident in Hässleholm, where you underwent the treatment.

If you move out of the region and need to visit another dentist, contact T4 Confident before starting treatment.

The warranty does not apply to:

Failure to heal
Missed return visits for cleaning and inspection.
Lack of self-care
Feeling of discomfort due to unfamiliarity or dissatisfaction with the color of the prosthetic or other aesthetic previously agreed upon.
Problems caused by secondary caries.
Misuse and negligence in handling, for example losing your prosthesis.
Accident (trauma) or occupational injury. In these cases, you can get compensation from your employer's insurance if it is an occupational injury, or your accident insurance.
The guarantee does not cover new procedures such as a root canal in connection with/ or after prosthetic treatments (e.g. crowns/bridges).
The warranty does not cover implants if the implant-supported prosthetics are not performed by us.
Prosthetic rebasing after six months from extradition.

Where is the warranty valid?

The warranty is only valid at T4 Confident in Hässleholm, where you underwent the treatment. ​

Assessment

The assessment of whether or not it is covered by the guarantee is always carried out by the treating dentist. If the treatment requires additional measures that were not included in the initial treatment, these must be financed by the patient.

If you decline any recommended action under the guarantee, no refund will be made. The guarantee never reimburses you for your time, travel expenses or similar costs.

In order for the guarantee to be valid, you must attend annual check-ups and hygienist treatments.

In addition, if you notice anything wrong with your teeth, contact the clinic immediately.

Worth repeating - the warranty is subject to you taking good care of your teeth. This includes regular visits to the dentist/hygienist and following the recommended oral care measures you have been given on how to take care of your teeth at home.
